How to get yourself out of a rut or a bad funk!

Ok guys I know this year has been crazy and full of negativity from covid and fighting and well just everything that could go wrong seems to have done so. I know there are a lot of people who have been going threw a rough patch or a RUT and they cant seem to climb out. So I have decided to share with you what I do myself when I feel like things will never end and get better. 

Lets start with my biggest thing first! when I have been sick or feeling down and just lack motivation most of the time you can look around and there is a big mess! and lets face it when your space is full of clutter and junk your motivation to do anything goes right out the window! if your surrounding are messy you tend to feed off that negative vibe and well you tend to get sloppy and carry around the negative vibe everywhere you go! so my first tip is even if you feel like poo get cleaning! you will feel a little less stressed out when you sit down and are not looking at a bunch of clutter and junk.

My second tip is to get fresh air!! most of us have been spending LOTS of time indoors and lets face it...it doesn't look like its going to get better any time soon so what I do is while im cleaning I will open up my windows and let the fresh air in! after all night with the same stuffy air opening that window for 5-10 mins can really help lighten your mood! even in the colder months I love having my window open just to let some fresh air into the home and not only do I feel better but so does everyone else in the home. Now if your lucky enough to be able to go out and take a walk on a trail or get into nature some how I feel like this should be a no brainer but do it! even if your not feeling it, go for a 5 min walk in the woods or garden or where ever it is and take in the scenery it really will help de-stress your body and make you feel so much better!

My 3rd tip and probably my last one for today is JUST GET READY! even if you know your going to be staying inside at home all day and have no meetings on zoom etc, get yourself dressed as if you were expecting family stop by! im not saying go full glam on your makeup but get dressed, do your hair... even pamper your skin you will feel more motivated to keep going rather then sleep your days away one the couch. once you get up and going you will start to feel better and feel like yourself again!

So like I said im going to end todays post here but let me know what you do when you feel like you are just wore out or non motivated...do you just wait for it to pass or do you force yourself to get into better vibes?

Good morning everyone! I hope you are all waking up today in a good mood like I am. Today I want to talk to you about a way that will make you feel better yourself and leave you in a better mood overall. You have all heard the saying "treat others as you like to be treated", well it makes sense. If you help lift others mood by helping them, complimenting them, anything that will help them smile...you in return will feel happier and leave your self in a better mood as well. Not only will you make the other person/people feel better for the day and your self better, it makes you a stronger person. What I mean by this, is that people will start to see a better side of you, your kindness turns into strength. Just keep it in the back of your mind, that if you want a quick rise, you just need to help lift others, make them feel good. We rise when we lift others. :)

Halloween Is coming!

 Hey everyone welcome or welcome back to my blog! Today I wanted to talk about something that has been very much up in the air the last few weeks and that is Halloween!  For those of you who do not have kids you may be wondering if you should set something up for this year or if you are going to be taking part of it this year at all, now for those of us with kids we have a bigger question as to if we will be doing Halloween this year.  Now here in my area we only have 4 cases for all of nova scotia so its pretty safe here and so with that being said we will be letting our children take part of the festivities this year as long as they follow the proper safety rules. Now I know in some places it is a hit or miss as some places are very much quarantined and with that if you have children I personally would recommend still decorating the house and getting the children costumes but maybe stick to just family (who are not at risk) just to give the kids something to look forward to where as

Getting Nervous!

 Hey everyone, Welcome back to my blog! for those of you who are new welcome and thanks or joining us! So today's post as you can tell is about what has been going on the last week here in our household and to be honest with Halloween coming up, covid numbers rising in the next province over and with myself going back to school for my nursing course next week lets just say my nerves are non-existant right now! I am SOO nervous about everything happening in the next few weeks and well with 2020 going the way it has it has really made these things seem like tasks that are not well thought out but I am sticking with what I'm planning and hoping for the best.  So if my blog, website, Instagram or youtube seem to be a little far and in between the last few days, this is why! So with that being said, What do you all do when you feel like you no longer can handle what the world is throwing your way? let me know in the comments!
